Set in 69 acres of tranquil Buckinghamshire countryside on the banks of the River Thame, this restored monastic building, once the home of Sir Laurence Olivier and Vivien Leigh, combines a picturesque original facade with a stylish modern interior well suited for business use and entertaining.

Dating back to the 12th Century, the Monk’s Refectory can hold up to 160 seated for a dinner, the 16th Century Abbots Hall can hold 150 theatre style for meetings and there are three additional rooms, ideal for breakouts, drinks receptions, relaxing or for more intimate dining.

Total capacity is 200 but the options for both corporate and private events is vast both inside and outside. The grounds are a combination of stunningly beautiful manicured lawns, tennis court, and fields which can accommodate a variety of outdoor pursuits suited to teambuilding and staff motivation or even family fun.

9 double bedrooms, of which 7 are all ensuite and the two bedrooms in the cottage share a bathroom. Additional good quality accommodation for large groups is within 10 mins drive of Notley Abbey.
